2010 MODS Summer Employment Opportunities


MODS is currently seeking applications for two summer positions. We require a "Summer Program Associate" as well as a "Fields Maintenance Worker". Please follow the link below to view more details about the jobs and the timelines for applying.
Position # 1

Introduction

The Manitoba Organization of Disc Sports is looking to hire a Summer Programs Associate to help organize and administer programs during the spring and summer of 2010. We are looking for a hard working, self-motivated individual who is willing to work outdoors and who preferably has experience in administration and recreation.

The Manitoba Organization of Disc Sports is a non profit Sport Manitoba recognized Provincial Sporting Organization that provides services for Ultimate Frisbee, Disc Golf and other disc sports.

Requirements and Duties

Requirements

Must be a current full-time student

Must be returning to school as a full-time student in September 2010

Must be entitled to work in Canada

Some weekends and evenings required

Must have a vehicle to drive to job sites. There is a fuel stipend for work related travel

Duties

Assist in the registration process for the Winnipeg Ultimate League

Assist in the operation of tournaments and clinics

We are looking for a hard working, self-motivated individual who is willing to work outdoors and who preferably has experience in lawn maintenance.

Must have transportation to and from job site.

Duties

Perform all duties required to maintain the fields including but not limited to:

Mowing the fields, lining the fields, watering the fields, machinery operation,

grounds clean up & all other aspects of field maintenance.

   

Report directly to the Park Maintenance Supervisor and the MODS Executive Director and work in partnership with other park maintenance employees.
