Appeal Policy
The purpose of the appeals policy is to enable disputes with members and participants to be dealt with fairly, expeditiously and affordably, within MODS, without recourse to external legal procedures. To download the policy, click here .
Conflict of Interest Policy
The purpose of the conflict of interest policy is to describe how members of MODS will conduct themselves in matters relating to conflicts of interest, and to clarify how MODS will make decisions in situations where conflict of interest may exist. To download the policy, click here .
Dispute Resolution Policy
The purpose of the dispute resolution policy is to use the techniques of negotiation, facilitation, mediation and arbitration as effective ways to resolve disputes with and among members, and to avoid the uncertainty, cost and other negative effects associated with litigation. The purpose of the privacy policy is to protect personal information that MODS collects in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronics Documents Act (PIPEDA). MODS Harassment and Abuse Policy
It is the policy of the Manitoba Organization of Disc Sports (MODS) that every member of the Organization can expect to participate in an environment in which all individuals are treated with respect and dignity. To download the policy, click here .
Respect In Sport (RIS) Policy
The MODS Respect in Sport Policy covers what members of the organization are required to take the “Respect In Sport” (RIS) program; who will cover any costs and what happens to members who do not complete the course. To download the policy, click here .
Bingo Policy
The MODS Bingo policy covers the allocation of Bingo session opportunities to approved high performance teams or other approved MODS groups and the requirements of the teams and groups for these sessions. Pregnancy Policy
The purpose of this policy is to protect the safety of the expectant mother and her baby, as well as to avoid the possible detrimental effect that such participation may have on other players’ performance. It will allow, while reviewing the Ultimate Pregnancy Waiver, the expectant mother and her physician to discuss the pros, cons and potential risks involved in participation while pregnant.
