MODS Budget & Contribution
In December of 2004, the City of Winnipeg agreed in principle to allow MODS to use the land in cooperation with other park users. This agreement opened up the door for MODS to apply for several grants that otherwise would have been unavailable. -These figures are using the most conservative estimates from the most competitive contractors. Until the snow is removed from the ground, we will have more precise quotes available.
-Our facility would include 9 fully irrigated field and a 161 stall parking lot to begin with.
-The field levy con tribution includes league fees since the early 1990's. It is projected to be $260,000 by the Summer of 2005
-Once the fields are built, the field levy will be continued to pay for field maintenance and improvements
