    *       Since 1988 the Winnipeg Ultimate League has grown by more than 3000%!!!

    *      Membership has grown 192% since 1999 alone for over 1500 players in 2004

    *      We have reached a growth plateau with the existing number & quality of fields. In the past few years we have looked at renting other facilities in the city. This has led us to rent "less than ideal" venues such as Little Mountain Park and the Canadian Mennonite University. In order to find a long term solution, MODS is looking to develop our own fields.

    *      Would we stop using the existing City fields? No. We are just looking to develop fields to complement our existing fields not to replace them. This way we can allow for future growth and field down time. We could start rotating fields and allowing over used fields time to regenerate.
