2009 MODS Registration Info

Registration for returning teams will begin Saturday March 28th at 9:00am.

New Captains and teams changing nights may begin registering on April 4th.

The link for team and individual membership registration will be available right off the front page.

The following information is to help you prepare to register your team.

MODS Membership renewals

Renewals for ALL individual memberships will begin on March 1st.
People who already have a MODS account should log in and update his/her profile,
People without accounts or don't remeber his/her user name must create a new account.
The system will recognize your info and offer to merge your account if you have entered your information correctly.
Both groups must read the Code of Conduct and Waiver documents and agree to both to become a member.

Early Bird Membership fees are $20 (from March 1st until April 10th) fees will raise to $25 on April 11th for adults and $10 for Juniors. These fees can be submitted with team fees by the captains or directly to MODS. It is the responsibility of the captains to ensure that all of their players get registered. If a player is not in our data base captains will be able to create a partial membership for their players to be updated by the player. To do this you will need the full name of the player (proper spelling), email address, date of birth and postal code. The mandatory fields have been adjusted on the membership form to reflect the data that we must provide Sport Manitoba.

Team Registration

There are essentially three types of captains in regards to registering. Returning Captains (same night), Returning Captains (different night) and New Captains. These are defined below.

Returning Captains (Same Night) will be able to log in under their name (an improved lost user name / password system has been developed to help captains to remember how they log in) and “Promote” their team to the new season. After they have done that they may add players to their roster; change the team name, shirt color, select preferred division of play etc… *****Returning teams who are changing captains must get confirmation from Corey prior to registration. The new captain has to be granted access authority before they begin registering; otherwise they will have to wait until April 4th to register as a new team**** THE CAPTAINS QUIZ HAS BEEN SUSPENDED FOR 1 YEAR ALL TEAMS ARE REQUIRED TO SEND A REPRESENTATIVE TO THE CAPTAINS CLINICS. THE QUIZ WILL RETURN IN 2010.

Returning Captains (New Night) will be treated the same as the first option but they must wait until April 4th to begin registering.

New Captains may begin registering on April 4th and are required to attend 1 of 4 Captains Clinics that MODS are holding.

Rosters

Teams paying by cash or cheque must submit a roster detailing which players they are including membership fees for. Please type this or write it very neatly. This can be emailed or handed in to the Executive Director. Please ensure that you are providing first and last names, proper spelling and either their b-date, user name or postal code so that we can ensure that we are attributing the fees to the right person.
