2009 Flatland Print E-mail
The top Open and Women's tournament on the Prairies is taking place on JULY 4 - 5th in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
This tournament has traditionally drawn teams from Alberta, Saskatchewan, as well as the Minneapolis and Duluth areas. Plans are in place to make this the best Flatland ever.
Winnipeg has the honor of hosting the Canadian Ultimate Championships this summer and will be using this event to measure service levels.
If you came last year you know that we now have our own beautiful park with 7 Ultimate Specific fields. You know that we go over board on the field food.
You should also be aware of the CASH PRIZES for the Open ($1500) and Women's ($500) divisions.
We've booked the venue of our best party ever so we could properly put the CUPS back in FUCT.
Extra incentives for out of town teams, a special quad occupancy rate at a host hotel and the option to "opt out of the dinner" to save some cash are all reasons you should consider coming.

VOLUNTEERS

To run any tournament you need a strong committed crew of volunteers.
We are looking for help with Disc Central, Water Delivery, Score Keeping, Field Food, Photography, Videography and party planning. This tournament is also being used as a training tournament for the CUPA Observer Program, so if you're looking to observe at Nationals keep this in mind.
