SWARM

Swarm will be having a team meeting/info session for all returning players and all those interested in playing with Swarm for the 2009 season, to be held Wednesday, February 11th at the Golf Dome. Session will begin at 9 pm in the lounge area. The session will cover plans for 2009 including pre-season workouts (already underway on Friday nights... email for details if you don't have them yet), practices during spring and summer, roster selection, planned tournaments, Swarm league team(s) (new for 2009!), expected commitment levels, fundraising and community building events, and answers to the best of my ability on other details (expected costs, etc.). Session should last about an hour, following which you're welcome to stick around for the first night of touring pickup (which will be held weekly starting the 11th through the end of indoor, 10:30-11:30). Touring pickup is speed point rules (like the hat tourney on the 24th) and if interested bring a light and dark jersey, water, cleats and $5 to pay to Corey. Note sticking around for pickup is strictly optional for those at the meeting but should be a good time (and great workout!) for those willing to stick around. Thanks, and see you next week! Josh
