I realize Mondays have had cancellations due to wet weather... But having a double header without much notice, especially at a far out field (McMeans for me), I am not looking forward to, especially in this crazy heat. Were the captains given specific heads up on this and word just wasn't passed down?

Your captain would have been told. We were advised that double headers would be this week as opposed to July 2 which was also hot and many teams would be down a few players because of the long weekend. But Mondays are still cursed...

Monday captains were told we were opening round 3 with a double header for the divisions that need them. We bumped the games to this week because several teams were worried they were too low on #'s because of Canada Day. So we just played a single game the first week.

Ok, in future would there be a way to highlight a night that had double headers so players might easier see it when captains don't spread the word?

We could try posting a message on the game status screen, add the info to a newsletter and tweet it. In general the captains are still our best resource to pass along such info.

Last nights (Monday) games should be our only double header of the season.
