Playoffs begin thursday night.

Effectively the league is one week shorter. On top of all the rainouts this season we are also getting ripped off of one more game.

The Quarter Finals being played on the last week of league prior to Championship Weekend has been done for about 10 years. This was clearly communicated at the beginning of the year. In fact in most years Championship Weekend has been the 3rd weekend in August because the 4th would be part of the long weekend. So the season is actually a week longer than usual. We would need a venue that has 26+ fields in 1 spot to run the QF's on the weekend as well.
