MODS was weighing options on how to proceed and use the weeks we are allowed to play this summer to provide as many options as possible.
With the extension of the health regulations to June 12th we had to look at when we could realistically start and what that would mean.
COVID-19 daily case numbers have dropped quite a bit from their peak but have not improved enough to give us the kind of certainty that we would want moving forward.
All May - June leagues and programs that had been postponed are now officially cancelled.
MODS will focus on running the session planned for mid-July to the first week of Septemeber.
This allows more time for the COVID situation to improve, gives MODS more lead time to prepare and organize the leagues and for captains and players to plan their teams.
1) All teams or individual program participants who would like a refund will now be eligible for one. Note because this is a league mandated shutdown the "refund policy" will not be applied. Meaning that you will receive a full refund.
2) All teams or individual program participants who wish to play in our July league can use their existing (May-June) registration and payment. You won't need to re-register or send new player invites.
3) Program registration will resume next week for teams and players who wish to join. Program registration will remain open until the week before the start of your league or program. The July league will start the week of July 19th and end the week of September 6th (depending on your night of play).
4) Please confirm with Corey whether you will be playing in July or if you would like a refund. The office will begin processing refunds next week.
It's our hope that in mid-July that the COVID situation will be in a much better place and that a larger % of the population wil be vaccinated by then.
