MODS Looking to Hire!

Manitoba Organization of Disc Sports (MODS) with the support of the Canada Summer Jobs program are hiring an Office Support and Communications Coordinator. This position is for people looking to gain experience and skills working with the MODS office to manage our organizations social media presence.

Job Description:

- Work with MODS staff, Board of Directors and volunteers to develop and post content across MODS social media platforms.

- Share relevant posts from community partners and sponsors

- Be present at MODS events to photograph and collect content of members and our venues.

- Other related projects as assigned.

Details:

MODS is looking to hire part time employees (15 hours per week), Work would be done from home, on location or at Sport Manitoba. Pay for this position is $11.90 per hour (as per provincial contract). This position will extend through February of 2022 with potential to continue beyond that.

Requirements:

Proficiency writing and generating relevant content for social media platforms, strong written communications skills, ability to work independently and meet deadlines. To be eligible for our grant applicants must be between 15 to 30 years old and returning to school full time in the fall.
