MODS and Gray Academy present the innaugural - Graduating All Star Game 2019!

2019 Graduating All Star Game a 1st for MODS and the Manitoba Ultimate Community...

It has been a dream of many for years... a way to highlight the great work and ethics of our youth who give so much in their ultimate frisbee careers through their school communities. Well for 2019, Manitoba Organization of Disc Sports and Gray Academy (with the help of Jamie Kagan and the student body) are getting ready to host the best players in the province at the end of May!

The brain-child of Kagan, this first incarnation of the grad all star game will see the best graduating grade 12 athletes make up one team while they play and compete against the best next generation players (Nex-Gen) for Ultimate supremecy.

The evening will begin with reception at Gray Academy in the gardens with music and mock-tails.

Following the introduction, MODS will be on hand to help celebrate the annual scholarship award winners in the Jean-Luc Forrest, Dean Wright and Dr Colin Yeung categories.

All all-stars will then be recognized by name and with a commemorative jersey before we head to the main field to play a quick game of 7's as the Graduating All Star Grade 12's take on the Nex-Gen Up and Comers from Grades 11 and 10.

Evening Times and Schedule

6:15pm – Doors open at Gray Academy (reception in the courtyard)

6:30pm – Program starts (approx. 30 min in length)

MODS and Gray will recognize the scholarship winners for the year and the all-stars as nominated by our school coaches!

7:15pm – Game begins outside at the fields
