Membership Renewal Opens Early as MODS Announces Key Dates for 2026 Season

The Manitoba Organization of Disc Sports is pleased to share important membership, junior, family, and adult league updates as planning ramps up for the 2026 season.

2026-27 Membership Renewal

Members can renew their 2026–2027 memberships effective February 10, 2026. Any memberships purchased on or after this date will be valid through March 31, 2027. The ability to renew early gives the organization more time to prepare for program and league registrations and ensures members are ready well ahead of the summer season.
*current 2025-25 memberships expire on March 31, 2026.

  • Weekend practices: IJL Park

League schedules:

  • U10 League: Thursdays at IJL, 6:00 pm
  • U14 / U18 Leagues: Sunday evenings, 7:00–9:00 pm at IJL

Adult Program Updates

Registration for the Summer Mixed League will open on March 2, 2026. Thanks to early membership renewal, registration can now open sooner than in past years. Spots are first-come, first-served, so participants are encouraged to share this information widely to ensure interested players don’t miss out.

There will be no single-gender leagues offered this summer, as interest levels last season were not high enough to sustain them.

Family League Expansion

The Family League will be expanding in 2026:

  • Games will now run on Thursday evenings
  • League cap increased to 12 teams
  • Teams must include a minimum of five players under 18 years old
  • The intent is to operate the league in two tiers, supporting a positive and balanced playing experience for all teams.

With early membership renewal, clearly defined tryout timelines, and expanded programming, MODS is looking forward to an exciting and well-organized 2026 season.

Members and participants are encouraged to mark their calendars and share these important dates with teammates, families, and friends.
