2026 Junior Provincial Team Tryouts

We are just a week away from our 2026 Junior Provincial Team tryout registrations! You can find all the tryout dates and preliminary information available below. 

Registration Dates

  • February 17 - Team Manitoba tryout registration opens
  • February 17 - Caribou and Ice tryout registration opens

Tryout Dates

  • April 7 – Team Manitoba Tryout #1 (WSF North) @ 7:15pm - 9:15pm
  • April 9 – Team Manitoba Tryout #2 (WSF South) @ 6:15pm - 8:15pm
  • April 12 – Team Manitoba Tryout #3 (WSF South) @ 7:30pm - 9:30pm

  • April 14 – Caribou & Ice Tryout #1 (WSF North) @ 7:15pm - 9:15pm
  • April 16 – Caribou & Ice Tryout #2 (WSF South) @ 6:15pm - 8:15pm
  • April 19 – Caribou & Ice Tryout #3(WSF South) @ 7:30pm - 9:30pm

Players may elect not to try out for Team Manitoba and only try out for Caribou or Ice. Players who are not selected for Team Manitoba will be eligible to register for Caribou and Ice tryouts up until April 13. This year, cuts will be made after the second and third tryouts, allowing athletes multiple opportunities to demonstrate growth and development.

Estimated costs for these programs is $1000/player plus travel costs. 

Practice Locations

  • Weekday practices: Assiniboine Park (AP)
  • Weekend practices: IJL Park
