About Team Manitoba Identification Camp

Team Manitoba coaches will be getting an early look at junior players ahead of the 2022 Summer Provincial Team season.

Date: Thursday December 30th

Time: 3:30pm to 6:30pm

Location: WSF Soccer South (U of M indoor facility)

Cost: $20 + GST = $21.00 (note: participants must also have a MODS Junior Membership - $10 + GST = $10.50)

Target Group: Junior players interested in trying out in the spring or improving their skills. Players don't need to intend to tryout for Team Manitoba to attend this is open to anyone regardless of experience of skill level. The Canadian Ultimate Championship Series Junior Divison covers ages 14 - 18; teams can apply to have players younger than 14 participate on a case-by-case basis. Junior age is defined as the player’s age on December 31st of the year of an event.

Format: Players will be led through a dynamic workout, and work on a series of drills to assess their disc and athletic skills before moving into competition drills and scrimmages. The camp will be run in a single gender format as we look towards forming our junior teams in the spring.

Upcoming events: MODS will be announcing a couple of spring identification camp indoor sessions in the new year.

The Identification Camp will run in conjunction with a general skills camp for kids aged 8 to 12.

Participants will receive an email the week of the event to confirm the venue COVID-19 protocols & policies.
