Indoor Options & Programs for October through December 2020

MODS is pleased to announce their programs and plans for the first half of indoor 2020. We have gender specific programs, youth programs and the Torque indoor mixed league. This season will start in mid October and run through to the end of December. Compared to previous indoor seasons which ran 12 weeks, this indoor season will run 9 weeks - all prices have been reduced to reflect the shortened season.

October 1st Update - Registration continues for our Fall Indoor season. Links to register for our programs are listed below. We still have room in Women's League (Sunday WSF South), Men's Draft League (MIUDL Tuesday WSF North), 4 on 4 League (Tuesday WSF North).

Changes to WYUL HS League - due to lower numbers a couple of teams are being created to participate in our adult Mixed League (Sunday's WSF North or South). We need more girls to round out the teams and have space for a couple of more boys.

WYUL 12-15 - This is close to sold out (Sunday's WSF North)

It is required that all members playing indoor familiarize themselves with the indoor return to play document on this page. However we also want to highlight some key changes that will be taking place for the 1st half of indoor this year, before people register for teams or programs.

• Members will have specific entrances and exits when using the two indoor venues this fall and winter (Winnipeg Soccer South at U of M and Winnipeg Soccer North on Leila). We are not using U of W this 1st half.
• There will be no access to change rooms, members must arrive in their clothing. Clothing and bags must be kept with you on the sidelines.
• Players must wait in the designated areas until venue staff have cleaned from the previous group and signal the new group to enter the field of play.
• When entering, members will be required to bring their own bag or container to put their footwear and use that vessel until point of exit after their game (no outdoor footwear permitted in the venue, vessel must be kept with you at the field)

• Members are required to wear a mask at all times inside the complex until they have entered the turf field / playing area after being instructed to do so by staff.

• Members must always adhere to 6 feet of distancing other than when on the field of play (sideline spacing is still a requirement)

• Members may only play with one team in one league for the 1st half of the indoor season to allow for pods in case of COVID-19 breakout

We are hopeful that we will be able to losen some of the venue and game restrictions in the second half (January to March) should there be positive changes as it relates to COVID-19 and the current pandemic. With positive changes in the pandemic we may also see a return to 12 week programs.

This men's league is run by members of General Strike and has supported players from other programs including elite juniors.

Deadline to apply is September 17th.

This women's league is run by members of Fusion and has supported players from other programs including elite juniors.

Games for both programs are Thursday's at WSF South (game times to be confirmed) starting October 22nd.
