The Manitoba Organization of Disc Sports has set aside our annual Manitoba Cup tournament that has run since the 2015 season. In lieu of this event we have added an event exclusive to teams in our Summer Mixed Leagues that calls back to our league's grass roots of championship weekends.
This event was first released on our Spring/Summer calendar in February and our 2024 Summer Mixed League teams on all four nights(Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays) have been competing to qualify for the event all Summer!
The top two teams in the standings following Round Robin play will be invited to the event to compete over two days against other qualifying teams from adjacent nights and tiers to decide our Summer Mixed Champions for the 2024 season. *This event runs after league playoffs are settled, meaning we will be awarding League Champions trophies as per usual during weekly play, as well as Tournament Champions for teams that qualified and win on the event weekend of August 24+25.
This event is invite only. Only teams in our Summer Mixed League programming with submitted rosters by the June 30 roster lock deadline, who met the qualifying criteria were eligible for play.
