2019 Developmental and Beginner's League

Each year MODS runs a summer program to allow players the opportunity to be introduced to the sport.

Further to that the summer program has been a great learning tool for inexperienced captains and newer players who appreciate the opportunity to learn more about the game of Ultimate through experienced mentors.

Experienced players have also used this program as a way to expand on their knowledge of the game.

Jess Benoit (MODS Lifetime Member and Women’s Committee Member) leads a group of passionate mentors to provide a great weekly experience through the program.

Players sign up as individuals, couples or small groups.

Each week the group shows up early to work on skills and tactics while learning rules and Spirit of the Game.

This is followed by a game against a league team.

All sessions take place at Assiniboine Park on Wednesday’s.

Start Date - Wednesday July 3rd.

Skill sessions – 6:30pm

League game – 7:00pm

Costs - $55 + GST and a MODS Membership

Players from this program often go on to form teams in Fall and Winter leagues.
