Team Manitoba is MODS' most elite program for developing youth in the sport of ultimate.
Gender matching teams are made in March through the process of tryouts. Once assigned to a team, athletes will train indoors and eventually at IJL Ultimate Park. Throughout the season they'll learn the game, and improve on skills, teamwork, and spirit of the game while working towards a Junior National Championship at the Canadian Ultimate Championships in August.
Play is broken into Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) stages and our overall philosophy towards development. Parents and athletes should have clear expectations around the program goals.
Our Junior Team programming are single-gendered youth options to help develop our athletes in a team atmosphere. Information regarding which teams will be operating along with season schedules will be provided by staff and coaches in January 2025.
