With the start of the August Leagues just around the corner it's time to get ready for the annual Captain's Meeting.
Due to COVID-19 we will not be doing in person meetings this summer.
Instead we're taking the meeting online; same goes for the Rules Clinic
Captain's Meeting
Thursday July 30th @ 7pm
Each team will receive further instructions on how to join the Zoom call.
Each team must have at least one person online for the call.
Aside from a quick run down of how the season will work the main focus will be on...
a) MODS Stage 2 Return to Participation protocols; what policies and rules are in place and what you need to know to to keep your team in compliance with Provincial guidelines.
b) USAU 2020 - 21 Rules Update; don't forget the first new rule set in many years is in effect for this summer and we want to make sure all teams get up to speed on the changes to our game.
Attendees must log in to the Zoom call with the email they use for the MODS website so we can easily track team attendance.
More info on this meeting will be sent directly to the captains as we update it.
Rules Clinic
Tuesday July 28th @ 7pm
New captains and anyone who doesn't pass (80%) the Rules Test are required to attend a MODS Rules Clinic.
Access to take the test is at the bottom of your "Dashboard", if you don't have a link to take the quiz you can contact Corey to see about getting access. Keep in mind people who haven't been to a clinic before won't have access and have to complete the clinic.
Similar to the captain's meeting this presentation will take place through an online Zoom call.
Each team is required to have a "Rules Captain" (someone who has passed the test or been to a clinic).
Anyone is welcome to attend the rules clinic and you can have multiple people from your team on the call.
