MODS Looking to Hire:

MODS is looking for a creative Social Media Coordinator (SMC) to join our team. As a SMC, you will be responsible for managing and developing our social media platforms to increase our social media presence within and outside the MODS community.

 

Job Description:

  • Work with MODS staff, and volunteers to develop and post content across MODS social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social media best practices.
  • Develop, implement, and manage MODS social media platforms / content.
  • Share relevant posts from community partners and sponsors.
  • Be present at MODS events to photograph, collect and post content.
  • Other related projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in written communication and generating relevant content for social media platforms.
  • Preferred one year of experience as a SMC or in similar role.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Flexible and meet deadlines.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle.

Details:

The position is part time (15 hours per week) and may be done from home, on location or at Sport Manitoba. Compensation for this position is $15.00 per hour. This position has an estimated start date of May 2, 2022.
