It started last year under the guidance of Mark Oxer and with help from Tim Barkley and the Disc Golf community at large, and thanks to those efforts and the success of the indoor program, it is back this winter! For 2020, the bookings begin with gym time on Monday Ferbruary 10th and will continue until Monday March 30th. The first two weeks of the league are practices and offer members a chance to come out and try their hand at putting to different length of baskets while also getting used to the indoor setting at Sport Manitoba.
After the first two weeks of preparation and practice, the actual league will begin in week 3 and run for 6 weeks total from February 24th to March 30th.
League Type: Putting League
Venue: Sport Manitoba (Indoor Heated and Secured Parking Available)
Cost of League: $35 + GST
MODS Membership Required: A disc golf membership is required, those with a 2019 disc golf membership or full MODS membership are in good standing, those without membership will need to purchase one in advance of the league start date. PDGA memberships do not count towards this program.
Practice Dates: Monday February 10th and Tuesday February 18th (Monday the 17th is a Holiday)
League Dates: Monday Feb 24th, Monday Mar 2nd, Monday Mar 9th, Monday Mar 16th, Monday Mar 23rd and Monday Mar 30th (Final Night)
Time: 830pm-930pm (other than March 30th which is 9pm-10pm)
