MODS is looking for junior coaches!

Team Manitoba, our elite summer development program for juniors aged 13-18 is back and ready for another amazing and super competitive 2020 season! To help the program growth and keep introducing new coaches to our provincial team program, MODS is looking to hire new coaches for the 2020 season and work them into our pool of certified leaders.

What You Bring:

  • The ability to teach and inspire young men and women to learn about spirit of the game, life skills and the game of ultimate.
  • The ability to plan practices and a season to get the most out of the athlete's growth and development.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Positive energy and willingness to support others through challenges.
  • A great understanding of the sport of ultimate from grass roots to competitive levels.

What We Offer:

  • The best junior athletes in the country.
  • We pay for your criminal record check and background check.
  • We pay for all your travel (hotels, bus, plane). We also offer per diems when ever you travel for the team.
  • All coaches are paid an honorarium for their time with the team.
  • Free NCCP development.
  • Support through the office and program mentors to help with all aspects of the sport.
  • The office handles management of the team, allowing coaches to mostly focus on practice, games and athlete development.

Important requirements:

  • Coaches must be available to attend all tryouts.
  • Coaches must be available to attend all practices.
  • Coaches must be available to attend all events and games.
  • Coaches must pass a criminal record check and background check to be eligible to work with youth/junior players.

How to apply - Please send a resume and brief outline of why you would like to coach and with what teams and genders heading into the 2020 season. All applications should be sent to Sean in the MODS office and should be received NO LATER THAN Friday March 6th at 4pm.
