On behealf of Dean Wright and SJR... Dear Phys. Ed. Teacher, Ultimate Coach or Captain,
I am writing to inform you that we will be holding our 26th annual Hold Back The Snow Ultimate Tournament on October 19 and 20, 2019, and it promises to be as big and exciting as ever. Once again, there will be two divisions, Middle School (grades 6 to 8) and High School (grades 9 to 12). All games will again be played at the Grant Park Soccer Fields on Taylor Ave. The cost of the tournament will be $430.00 for each team. The fee includes lots of spirited Ultimate, field food, awards, a barbeque and a tournament infrastructure unmatched.

The latest information we have suggests the following: For players between the ages of 15 and 17 who are travelling with a team, a passport is not required, but players must present a form of government issued photo ID as well as a copy of their US birth certificate. Coaches, chaperones or other companions over the age of 16 need to have a passport, Nexus, Sentry or Fast card, or an enhanced driver’s license. We encourage everyone to verify the latest document requirements before traveling, as policies may have changed.
Registration and accommodations information will be provided on our tournament website which will be updated in late August for this year’s tournament. The website address will be provided for you in our next mailing. Registration is scheduled to begin on Friday, August 23.

Teams will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. This means that all registration (forms and fees) must be complete and on time. We do not plan to accept any registration forms or fees after the specified deadlines. Also, spots in the tournament will not be held for any team until full payment has been received. Let your finance office know that cheques need to be sent on time. If you are requiring any kind of invoice from us, let us know in advance!
If you have yet to attend Hold Back The Snow, we hope that you will join us this year. It always promises to be an excellent weekend for your athletes.
