About Women's 35+ Summer Pick-Up League

MODS is pleased to offer a pick-up league for women and gender minority players age *30 and over. The goal of this league is to provide flexible playing opportunities for female-matching players of all skill levels, in a friendly, supportive and respectful community environment. 

Dates:  Sundays from July 7th to September 29th, 2024. From August 29th to September 26th BOTH Thursday and Sunday games will be options if there is sufficient demand. 

Location: IJL Ultimate Park (IJL11)

Start time: 7:00PM for July + August - 6:45PM for September sessions

Individual Fees: $25 registration fee for unlimited attendance for the the season OR $10 drop in fee purchasable on the MODS online shop

MODS Membership: All players must have a MODS membership. It is $50.00 for the membership year of April 1 to March 31 (https://mods.mb.ca/memberships/), which spans all 2024 league play including outdoor and indoor

Format: For the 2024 summer this will be pick-up style play, with teams being made each evening.  

 

Attendance: is not mandatory, however, both registered and drop in players are expected and should be prepared to provide their availability by noon on Fridays before Sunday games and by noon on Tuesday for Thursday games. Players are welcome to use the fields regardless of the number in attendance but games will not be run with less than 12 players committed by these deadlines. 

 

Bring your daughter evenings: On Sunday, July 28th we are providing an opportunity for female-identifying players age 12 and up to be introduced to the sport and for those already playing, to play with their parent and peers. After the first intro session, participants are required to be MODS members for liability purposes. *Memberships count towards junior and school leagues as well.
