MODS Hires Executive Director

We are thrilled to announce Kate Nosworthy as our new Executive Director.

Kate has an extensive background in sports management, a passion for Safe Sport, and a wealth of experience in leadership roles in the province and across Canada, bringing a dynamic and innovative approach to our organization.

Kate brings a depth of knowledge with a Master of Arts degree in Kinesiology/Rec Management. She is a certified coach and past Operations Director, Program Manager and Event Manager for Taekwondo Canada. Her achievements include bringing multiple events to Manitoba, such as the Commonwealth Taekwondo Championships in 2008 and securing two more national events to be held in 2024. In 2016, she was awarded the Sport Manitoba Order for Sport Excellence in Coaching. Her belief in the strength of Manitoba's sports community and the caliber of our athletes will allow for the growth of Disc Sports in the province, aligning seamlessly with MODS' mission and goals.
