Scholarships

Graduating athletes are invited to apply for the MODS Ultimate Junior Development Scholarships. Our scholarship program was established to support young athletes who continue to participate in ultimate while pursuing a post secondary education on a full-time basis.

Emphasis for this program is placed on athletes who have competed at the provincial level or higher, and who have maintained a high level of academic standing, while showing a commitment to ultimate through their involvement in playing, coaching, observing, and volunteer activities. There are three scholarships available:

  • The Dean Wright Scholarship
  • The Dr. Colin Yeung Scholarship
  • The Jean-Luc Forest "Spirit of the Game" Scholarship

The value of each scholarship is $500. Preference will be given to athletes attending university or college in Manitoba. Applications are due May 31.
