Letter from the President - October 2021

Members,

Another board year has passed. While I intend to reflect on my first year as MODS President, that can wait for a future edition. Here, I'd like to put the spotlight on three members that we recognized at our AGM.

First off, I'd like to congratulate Vaughn Snider on her induction as a MODS lifetime member! For those who don't know Vaughn, she has long been involved in the MODS community, both as a player, coach, volunteer and past board member. While it isn't the same to celebrate this type of achievement remotely, we were happy to surprise Vaughn at the AGM with this well deserved recognition.

I'd also like to thank our volunteers of the year, Meghan Marsland and Billy Donaldson. They are also both longstanding players, volunteers and past board members who have been an enormous help to MODS behind the scenes over the last year in supporting our transition and hiring process.

While we can't recognize everyone who contributes to MODS, we do rely on many others who support in a variety of ways. To all of you who take time out of your busy lives to give back to MODS, I'd like to offer you a personal thank you.
